About Rule League
Rule League is a reference site for the rules that come printed on a folded insert inside a game box, the kind that gets lost within the first month a game is owned. Every rules page is written from scratch in our own words, checked against the current official rulebook where one exists, and cross-referenced against multiple independent sources rather than copied from a single competitor's page.
Where a rule genuinely varies by table, edition or region (tournament scoring formats, regional trump variants, deck-count conventions for larger party games), we say so explicitly instead of presenting one version as universal. Where we could not independently confirm a figure, we don't state it as fact.
How we source facts
Card counts, scoring tables and setup steps are checked against official rulebooks and product pages where the game is a trademarked, single-owner product (Uno, Skip-Bo, Phase 10), and against several independent long-standing rules references for classic games with no single official source (Spades, Rummy, Cribbage, Euchre and the rest). House rules and table variants are labeled as such, not presented as official.
